This lovely French built IXU comes from one of our customers who has had it for a number of years and now want to sell it. He has taken good care of it and it is in very good original condition. There are traces of rust to the handle supports, lid stay and the rear hinges but nowhere else. There are very minor scratches to the case and a tiny dent to the front but otherwise this is a very attractive little unit. Its a kind of "faux crocodile" with case corners.

The interior is of a red felt and has been restored along with new electrode clips.

Naturally we have checked the electrics and this lovely item is covered under our guarantee of one year against defects.

The control unit is made of the ancient bakelite material - timeless - just like the old fashion radio sets from the same period.

The red button on the unit controls the power - (low to high) and for the technically minded adjusts the gap/tension of the tremblers. The other two buttons (red and white) are for selecting the correct voltage in the county you are in - UK and Europe is the red one (240V) and North America is the white one (120V). Naturally this unit works better on the 240V option and we can supply little transformers for people of different countries where the voltage differs.
