Lovely heavy duty case with new metalwork and stitched leather handle - the case covering (black faux leather) is heavy duty (as is the case) and the interior lid is in a purple cotton velvet

The control unit is built into the case with a large brushed bakelite fascia and two dials.

The one on the top selects the voltage (North America OR UK and Europe)

The one on botton right adjusts power from medium low to high. This adjusts the contact breakers rather than a rheostat / potentiometer - but does give an excellent range of sensations. Once the power engages, you can turn it back a little to reduce power or carry on to maximum - a feature common to many quality English violet wands.

Naturally we have replaced the cables with modern flexible PVC and refurbished the internal electrics to the highest possible standards allowing for the original design. This includes new capacitors, double insulated interior wiring, cleaning the contact breakers and tuning them, securing the cables so they can neither be pulled out or pushed in - plus of course, a total refurbishment of the case.
