This lovely Hegrosan has been fully restored inside and out and looks in showpiece condition.

Originally from the late 1920s, it has new case clips, a stitched leather handle and a new rich purple cotton velvet interior.

POWER - is controlled by the main dial on the control unit - For the technically minded it operates rheostat/ potentiometer - giving a fine degree of control to the output.

There is also a voltage option for either UK / Europe or North America (240V or 120V) so it can be used anywhere in the world. (The voltage "bridge" has been insulated underneath so it no longer has any live exposed metalwork and a pin has been fabricated and fitted to cover the exposed socket)

For USA customers - it is more happy running on 240V so if you live in North America or Australia, etc - you will get more power if you invest in a little UK to USA transformer - about the size of a child's fist (full specs given on request)

Naturally we carried out a full electrical restoration as we do all our units. New capacitors, re insulating all the the internal wiring, new cables, a cable retention system, re tuning of the device, cleaning of the contact breakers, in this case a vacuum potting of the hv coil in the hand piece, etc, etc.
